using netpkg problems
Hi All
Just decided to finally try Zenwalk after much debating, it installed fine but now that i try to use the netpkg tool it always complains that it can't find any packages in the repository specified, i've tried several different repositories and tried to read the manual (surprisingly unhelpfull) and i finally have to admit i'm stumped can anyone help? :confused: |
Well when you open up the netpkg (actually xnetpkg) then in the mirror list add
www.download.zenwalk.org/i486/current Then choose it as default and try to get connected it and list the updated repo. If not, then do report back the errors. Also other option i know is to check if /etc/netpkg.conf file is not corrupted. |
other question: which version did you install ?
(because old versions of netpkg have wrong repositories as mirrors trees changed). |
thanks coolguy, that repository worked fine ;)
