Introduction to Linux - A Hands on Guide
This guide was created as an overview of the Linux Operating System, geared toward new users as an exploration tour and getting started guide, with exercises at the end of each chapter.
For more advanced trainees it can be a desktop reference, and a collection of the base knowledge needed to proceed with system and network administration. This book contains many real life examples derived from the author's experience as a Linux system and network administrator, trainer and consultant. They hope these examples will help you to get a better understanding of the Linux system and that you feel encouraged to try out things on your own.

Zenwalk has been critized for feeling "closed" to some ... we don't want anybody to feel like outsiders.
Today (less than 2 hourse ago) Vincent Kergonna announced that he has setup several new mailing lists - accessible to anyone interested. See quote at the bottom of this post.
The new mailing lists are ready!
For those who didn't followed the topic concerning the new mailing lists earlier this week. A little summary.
>From now, all the lists will be hosted on the zenwalk server. they'll be public (with a public archive available).
This list (zenwalk -at- lists.tuxfamily.org) will be (is) replaced by zenwalk-main -at- lists.zenwalk.org, so please use this new list now. To subscribe send a mail to zenwalk-main-subscribe -at- lists.zenwalk.org or visit lists.zenwalk.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/zenwalk-main .
Also, four other lists have been created. They are:
zenwalk-games -at- lists.zenwalk.org
zenwalk-live -at- lists.zenwalk.org
zenwalk-doc -at- lists.zenwalk.org
zenwalk-community -at- lists.zenwalk.org
To subcribe the process is the same as for the zenwalk-main list.
e.g. zenwalk-doc-subscribe -at- lists.zenwalk.org or lists.zenwalk.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/zenwalk-doc
If anyone have any problem with the mailing lists please send me an e-mail.
Please forward to other zenwalk related mailing lists.
