how to update

how do you update zw with netpkg? i keep getting the exact same 28 updates to a brand new install of 3.0. isn't it downloading and installing all at the same time?

also, how do you check ALL the repositorys at once (at least the stable and the current ones) and get the non-free goodies like flash, unrar, w32codecs, etc, etc...............

thanks

just installed zw on 2 machines today. man, the system flies! already almost like it better than kubuntu.

You can't check all repositories at the same time. Other answers are all in manual(http://manual.zenwalk.org/) or netpkg's man i think

PS. manual/official forum are good start for most questions ;)

Here3 is the process i use to upgrade:
In the command line (as root of course) type
Code:

netpkg netpkg
netpkg upgrade-new
netpkg upgrade-config

i'm going to ass-u-me when i enter netpkg upgrade-new and select a repository and it says you're about to upgrade your whole system, that just means what is already installed on your system?

thanks

edit:
oops!!nope, not necessarily what it means, is it? i just downgraded my whole system, the first time. better stick with the same repos all the time, huh? at least until i get the hang of netpkg!!
