How Do I Set GTK Theme

Im running zenwalk 2.8 with xfce and downloaded a theme (LINsta3.1) for gtk2, i tried to apply it by putting the gtkrc as .gtkrc in the home directory and setting the path but to no avail. How do I install this theme??

I think that all you have to do is extract the relevant theme file(s) to /usr/share/themes? You have to do this as root.

Copying themes directories to ~/.themes does the trick also. This is recommended if you don't want to install themes system-wide.
