Configuiring modem

How do you configure a serial modem in ZenWalk? How do you connect to the internet? Other distros have "wizards" that make it a snap but I'm at sea with this one. Thanks for any help.

For the "hardware" install i remember ther is a question about it in install script.

After, you have to use ppp tools (ppp-setup, ...)

you can take a look at :

Thanks Guth. I'm going to wipe the Zenwalk partition and reinstall to see what I might have missed. All very simple thanks to Partition Magic. I'll give it another shot, but I'm getting the feeling that I belong in a less elegant but more user friendly distro for a novice like PCLinuxOS or Ubuntu. Best Regards.

Socalguy, "to learn how to swin, you have to jump into to water".
I also want to learn how to config my modem, bu i have no place to do that but on holidays. And here and now there is no way to connect.
But i have a question too: how does one find out to which number (phone) to call/connect to? And what about username and password?
