Can't connect to the network in 6.2 but I could in the LiveCD(6.0)

#zenwalk is dead. The forum registration is temporary down and I still have a problem. When I tried zenwalk on the LiveCD I was amazed how great it was and how easy it was to connect to the network using wicd(default). Now when I downloaded and installed standard edition 6.2 I can't connect. It finds all networks and it gets passed authorization but it can't get the ip address. What have happened with wcid between 6.2 and 6.0? Is it possible to change back to working wcid or should I install 6.0 instead?

I also installed 6.2 and hit a lot of issues. I managed the connection by copying many old files from 6.0. If you wish to continue, I would suggest getting the 6.0 iso and installing that. It worked right out of the box for me.
