Amarok and Apollon

Has anyone had any luck getting Amarok and Apollon working under Zenwalk?? I tried downloading Amaork,libtunepimp, and Musicbrainz from a Slackware mirror. The apps installed ok (?), no faults, but the Amarok program will not run. I also have not been successful getting Apollon to work.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dan

Problem Partially Solved

Search engines are great!!! I found a link to Zenwalk packages for Amarok on the official Zenwalk forum. Installing Amarok, Musicbrainz, and libtunepimp from there made amarok work. Now for Appollon???

To get Apollon working you'll need:
-Gift(htt://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distributions/vectorlinux/veclinux-5.0/packages/cli/NET/)
-Kdelibs(you can get those from netpkg)
-QT(htt://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distributions/zenwalk/people/prfaasse/ZenWalk-2.8/qt-3.3.6/)
-Apollon(htt://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distributions/vectorlinux/veclinux-5.0/packages/cli/NET/)

Limewire is better (htt://3w's.linuxpackages.net/search_view.php?by=name&name=limewire&ver=11.0)
3w's = www

Thanks for the advice. I'll give it a try. I like Apollon because it uses gnutella, fasttrack, ares , and openft. I believe Limewire only uses gnutella. I have used Limewire, however, and it does do the job.

Please make a package request for Apollon at our LinuxPackages-ish site for Zenwalk at ZenCommunity.

We also have a new Zenwalk section at LinuxPackages in the works, but all packages will be built at ZenCommunity and tested before being submitted to LinuxPackages. We would be more than happy to build Apollon for you and everyone else so please stop by and make a request.
