SOHO 5 RC2 released

SOHO 5 release candidate 2 was released late last night. So far reviews are looking good. It's suggested all RC1 users have a look and upgrade.

You can find it at the usual ibiblio mirrors or the Vector homepage.

why should KDE's ui make the underlying distro "prettier" ?? other than a wallpaper, they will be the same as any other distro, and you're free to change that to whatever you want anyway. there is no such thing as a "pretty" distribution, unless you're going to look at the very very heavy styling in Linspire or such.

Well true but its easier for the distro to just come pretty especially for n00bs like myself. so it saves me time ,
