Serial Mouse activation - Vector Linux

I installed Vector Linux Standard edition (Version 5.0) on a PC without PS2 mouse port. I connected a Serial Mouse, but the serial mouse is not working. How can I mount the serial mouse?

Please do not post the same thread in more than one forum. Picking the most relevant forum and posting it once there makes it easier for other members to help you and keeps the discussion all in one place.
