How do I install freerock gnome on Vector Soho?
I have freerock gnome enabled and updated via gslapt; However, I cannot install due to the same SDL versus sdl issue . From gslapt I only see SDL, but it seems, that freerock gnome requires sdl "lowercase."
I do not wish to go the ISO route. I tried and the instructions lost me. I want to be able to install it via gslapt. This way, I know what got installed should I choose to uninstall it later, I know what to uninstall.
Has the SDL issue been resolved or is there an easy work around for installing gnome on VL? I really love the polish that gnome 2.14 has on Ubuntu. One big advantage I see with vector is the ease of install of enlightenment and fluxbox.. No other distro I have tried comes close to the setup of these besides maybe elive for enlightenment...
