Love the distro. But can not figure out why cpu use so high. Amd64 3000+ 1gig ram.
I was gonna post results of top but cannot figure out how to cut and paste. 90.7% use by system and rest is used by user.
you can select text in a terminal and then paste it here by using the middle mouse button, or if it's a two-button mouse i think you can paste by hitting both buttons at once...
Open a console and do a top to find out what is taking so much cpu time.
If you have installed KDE 3.4.0 or 3.4.1 it could be de Lisa demon which is doing that, and this is a known problem with kde 3.4. Stop de Lisa demon and everything should be back to normal.
