Anyone Out There that Actually Runs Ultra X Linux?

[Log in to get rid of this advertisement]
Greetings.

I have installed and run Ultra X in a virtual machine on my desktop. So far as I can tell, it is Ubuntu with some packages added, a mysteriously patched kernel, and a script to clear out the /tmp folder.

There is nothing wrong with that. I hope that it grows more and flowers into the fully realized vision of cjparad.

I think I am done with it, at least for now. Then again, I am done with Ubuntu forever, so my opinion isn't worth much.
My curious nature can't help but make me wonder, however:

A) Have any of the rest of you done as I have and installed Ultra X on a VM? (Maybe more to share in the way of observations?)

B) Is there anyone running Ultra X on any machine as the actual primary OS? If so, what do you think?

Funny - shortly before your post is this one from someone identifying himself as the creator of UltraX:

Haven't used it myself - perhaps he can help you.

So . . . can I take it that there are absolutely ZERO people using Ultra X as their primary OS? At least . . . zero people who use LQ?

There's at least one - the creator who posted the link I indicated earlier about the same time you posted yours.
