xvidtune doesn't work in ubuntu breezy

I have a problem with my monitor, where when I use it in ubuntu, the screen is off-centre and I have to use the buttons on it to adjust it.

Before, I could use xvidtune to change it, so it stuck, but since making a clean install to Ubuntu Breezy, whenever I try to run it, I get a message saying "Please install this program before running" and can't use it.

How do I get xvidtune to work?
