xubuntu can't create file system

I am trying to use the entire harddrive to install xubuntu and create a ext3 file system with a swap partition too. I am getting this error. It could be a bug because xubuntu 6.06 is new.

You could always try to partition it by opening a console, (log in as root?), and type cfdisk... that always works
