Wireless Card Problem
 

Hi Guys,

I'm running Ubuntu 6.06 and after doing a software update last night Ubuntu can't seem to find my Atheros AR50056 wireless card!

Does anybody have any idea as to how I can make Ubuntu recognise it? I'm really desperate!!!

Am I correct in assuming that you are using ndiswrapper win a windows wifi driver? If so, check out this thread post number 4. I was having problems getting my wireless working after upgrading to 6.10, but it turned out that I was just missing a packet. I hope this works for you. Let me know how it goes.

Atheros cards use the madwifi drivers which are included in many distrobutions repoitories. Check them out or google them. They work perfectly for me with my atheros cards.
