Question Windows 7 won't boot after installing Peppermint OS 7

Hello folks,

I am new to this forum and I am also new to Linux. I probably should have read up more on it before installing but here is my problem. I had Windows 7 on this computer, I decided I wanted to try something different so I installed Peppermint OS 7 on a VM for a while. It worked just fine so I figured I would go ahead and install it to the HDD. I did that and now Windows 7 will not boot up. I am able to choose it from GRUB, just as I am able to choose the Linux OS. The Linux OS boots up just fine. Windows, however, does not.

If there is anything special that you need from me in order to get the show on the road, just let me know. I am willing to try anything. I partitioned off a 40GB section of the HDD to install Peppermint, so now I can't use the rest of my HDD. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much!

I would suggest you get the boot repair software from the link below and install it on Peppermint or create a bootable CD from the iso. Run it and select the option to Create BootInfo Summary and post a link to the output here. That will give us enough information so that someone should be able to suggest a fix.
