wifi driver code for pci id 14e4:4315


Can some one point me to code which is device driver for PCI ID 14e4:4315
that is on my laptop Dell Inspiron 1440.
When I installed Ubuntu 10.04 on it , I got a message in top right hand corner prompting to install
Broadcomm STA wireless driver.Which seems to be proprietary.If an equivalent version of it
(Since Broadcomm recently released drivers for open source) exists then give me a link to the same.

14e4:4315 is reported to be partially supported by b43 driver here:

I don't remember if firmware for broadcom is in the repositories. If it isn't, here's how to download and install it manually:

I am trying to develop a network driver for this.(For learning purpose) So wanted to understand where can I see the code?
