Why wont it install
 

Kubuntu 5.10, have downloaded and tried to install both amd 64 and i386 versions. both do all the stuff of the cd, then ask me to remove cd and reboot... i allow it to reboot and when it loads up again it starts installing more packages from the disk.... it gets to about 68% and just freezes. have done complete formate and reinstall 4 times now and it always freezes between 68 and 72%... its driving me insane. no error message, i burnd both of them on the slowest speeds my drive would allow.

Sounds like a bum installer CD.

I had it freeze one or 2 times when i installed it but then it worked fine i am running an amd64 and the 64 version check you bios settings for powermangment settings too.....
