I using Ubuntu 7.10. I can access to www.google.com, www.9down.com, and more webpages but i can't access www.ubuntu.com, archive.ubuntu.com, packages.ubuntu.com.
When i ping www.ubuntu.com it say: "the host unknown..."
Help me! Thanks you.

I would say it is a DNS issue. Either on your providers side or you are using the wrong DNS values in /etc/resolv.conf. I would check on your ISP info about their DNS ips.
You can goto say here. http://www.networksolutions.com/whois/index.jsp
Enter your ISP homepage. It should list NS1.*******.*** and NS2. Then you can use the ping command to see the IP for these nameservers and use that in /etc/resolv.conf
