Hello,

Can you post the contents in the config.log file. It should be in the lgps folder.

Also try installing cc, glibc (libc) and g++ and try ./configure && make.

vxc

BTW, if you had STFW, you would have found in less than 30 seconds ...

Please, please, please, avoid wasting our times, we're here to answer/search/solve some problems, not to google for you ...

You seem to be missing the libc development files. On Ubuntu, this is the libc6-dev. If you want to build programs on ubuntu, I highly recommend installing the "build-essential" package, as this includes almost everything you need to compile programs.

Did you try configuring after installing g++?

sudo apt-get install g++.

If that doesn't work also try installing libc6-dev if isn't already installed.

Hope this helps,
vxc

Thank you

So found and installed the mentioned libraries.

Things seem to work better now.

Thanks for all your help, and pointers.
