Hello everyone,
This is really strange. I am trying to install ubuntu 10.04 alternate to setup an ltsp server. I set up successfully in vsphere ESXi. When i pressed f4 at the start screen, I got ltsp in options.
I made a pen drive bootable and loaded the same iso an booted a physical machine. The installation menu is completely different. I cannot press f4, Its black and white, the background color is black, its supposed to be maroon. I am lost. kindly help. thanks. Please note: I am testing on 10.04 because its a customer requirement.

It might depend on what you used to create the bootable flash drive, unetbootin, pendrivelinux, lili or some other method as they often make changes. I've noticed the difference with some of this software as opposed to booting the iso directly or from a CD.

Oh, could be. Will try some other software. I used Ultraiso

Try something from Linux like the dd command. That works concistently and you have a live session on your one stick so this should be no problem as long as you have another of an optical disk to burn to.

I booted up the latest edubuntu ltsp. Somehow convinced my boss. Thanks for your help.
