where is wpa_supplicant.conf?
Where does Kubuntu 6+ store its wpa config info?
Out of the box it appeared to me that kubuntu was not set up to deal with WPA so following directions I found online I installed knetwork manager which in turn installed wpa_supplicant.
I am used to wpa_supplicant putting its config file in /etc/wpa_supplicant.conf but that file does not exist on my system (yet I know wpa is working somehow as I now have my home network working via the knetworkmanager GUI). Trying "locate wpa" turned up nothing that looked anything at all like the wpa config file I am used to.
So can anyone tell me how/where wpa config is being handled here?
The /etc/wpa_supplicant.conf file is used when you have a single system-wide configuration which applies to every user on the box.
