Well what took so long?! ;^)
After putting off desktop linux for years (I've been a Linux server admin/advocate for almost a decade) I switched full-time* to Ubuntu as my desktop operating system yesterday.
These people are doing it right, and my hope is that in addition to putting together a stellar distribution of their own, they lead others to improvement by example.
