I have noticed that there have been quite allot of rather repetitive questions from the less experienced users (green horns (to barrow a term from crab fishing)) on duel booting especially with vista! So I have taken the liberty of starting this thread and in hopes that a mod will notice my virulence and combined al the existing duel booting questions either in a sub forum titled accordingly or in a super thread as was done with the conglomeration of windows vs. Linux Flame threads.

I did do that once with the old "which distro" question. All that happened was that we had one extremely long and unreadable thread on one hand, and a lot of smaller threads that were either missed or ignored because I lost the will to live.

The rush to post is always going to be greater than the rush to search unfortunately, and everyone believes that their frequently asked question is different to everyone else's.
