virtual console black screen


Hi all,
When i trie to switching to Virtual Console 1 or 2 or 3 ..... 6 I get black screen
- my graphic card is ATI Radeon Mobility X1400
- I used Envy script to install graphic card driver
- I user Ubuntu 7.10
how to resolve this problem ?
