Question video problem following install black screen with brief flashing text box

Had to install 9.01 using alternative install and on boot get as above. when I choose rescue install I get cl. Have ati 4850. 2 other distro's do ok as live disks. How can I install restricted ati video driver or otherwise get video to work?

System > Administration > Software Sources >

Select tab says

Third Party Software

add The link you want to download from????

Be advised this is dangerous and may need a Authentication Key...

This how to add a restricted driver or package...

not how to resolve your conflict with the Ati 4850 card
