Used Update Manager, Cache failed message,m now disk is full
 
Clicked on Update Manager, not successful, message says disk is full. I do not have anything saved to disk.

uh.. can you give just a little more detail.. like what you are using (software wise).

And if you have done any updates or changes recently to your system (hardware or software).

This sounds like a corrupted file issue from first glance.. where if you reinstall the update manager, it might help.

Also, have you verified that your disk/cache is indeed empty?

How did you install Ubuntu?? Is this a Wubi (inside Windows) install?? Or is it a real install to a dedicated partition on your hard drive?? What version of Ubuntu are you using??
If it is a real install, how big is your root partition?
If it is a real install to a dedicated partition, open a terminal and run:

df -h
This will list your partitions, how big they are, and how much space is used and available.
Also, can you post the exact errors you are getting?
You need to provide more info here to get proper help.

You can also try running in the terminal:

sudo apt-get clean
This will clean out the package cache to make some room for updates.
