usb modem on ubuntu 7.04
 

hello to all
i m very new to this site as i m to ubuntu linux

i tried to access internet from it using the tata indicom CDMA 1x usb modem.

every thing got right but still i m not able to open any site
so plz help me out
i tried the following -:

Found an USB modem on /dev/ttyACM0.

I can't help you from experience but did a "Google" with -linux tata indicom modem- and found numerous articles. If no one answers in a day or so you may want to check it out.

The output from wvdial looks like everything is working fine:

you've been able to contact your ISP, and you've been assigned an IP address...



...what happens when you try to do this after using wvdial?:
