Upgrade to DD and it changed passwd.

I am now running Dapper Drake on a PC at home. When Im upgraded from Breezt Badger, through the update manager, it kept the user-level users info all the same, but the root password is not what I set it to. Please help. Thanks.

Hi! ubuntu starts with a default password, and that must have been what it reverted to after the upgrade.

Just go to System>Administration>Users and Groups, double-click on the Root user, go down and check the 'Set password by hand', then just enter your password.

That should do it!
