update to karmic koala beta

this is the first update for Ubuntu that has worked. Normally I end up with a broken system and have to do a clean install. I updated the amd64 laptop last night and so far everything seems to be rocking along. My cairo dock even works.

Yay! No sarcasm intended, i am really happy for you, but i got this post from <forum@linuxquestions.org> as a result of my request to be able to reply to the unanswered posts, so if every thing's OK, may we consider this as "solved"?

That tends to be a common side affect with using beta (testing) versions. Thanks for letting everyone know the latest update works.
