I have Kubuntu (Ubuntu with KDE instead of Gnome) and Windows Vista. I haven't noticed a problem at all so far. I have read in many places that the GRUB bootloader needs to be configured in order to be able to dual boot (with Vista). However, this wasn't the case with me! I installed Kubuntu over my old Ubuntu partition, and I can now boot Kubutnu or Vista with no problems.

Hope it helps.

I don't know that, but I do know that i spend a few bucks for a second hard drive and put Linux on that. I also wear a belt and suspenders.
