Unable to get Cell Phone Aircard set up-AT&T Sierra Wireless 881U
 

I have a Sierra Wireless 881U AirCard through AT&T in the US and am using it with Ubuntu 11.04.
I just started trying to set it up. After I plug it into the USB port I select New Mobile BroadBand connection. Then I select United States and then AT&T. This is a USB AirCard that plugs into my laptop so at the next screen I select Laptop Connect (Data Cards) which I assume is correct.
Then I select Apply to complete the setup.
At that time I see the symbol at the top of the screen showing that it's trying to connect but it doesn't connect and it comes back saying it is unable to connect.

Because of the setup that it goes through I had the idea that all the settings are already selected for me but it appears that I need to select something else. Is there something else that I need to select in the settings for this AirCard? I've heard that the username and password are no longer necessary.
