Question Ubuntu Studio on Dell Inspiron 4000

[Log in to get rid of this advertisement]
I Currently Own a Dell Inspiron 4000 Laptop Computer with the Specs:
  • Processor: Intel Celeron 801 mHz
    RAM: 512MB DDR2
Video: Unknown 8MB internal Memory @ 133 mHz
    Sound: ESS Maestro 3
    USB: 1.0
    Battery: Bad
    HD: 18 GB @ 7200RPM
Display: Built In 14.1 Inch LCD
Networking: Internal Modem, Non-Functional Ethernet Port
OS: Dual Booting Ubuntu 7.04 and Windows XP
Media Drive: 6x CD-RW/DVD-ROM Dell Drive
I have been Eyeballing FL Studio 7, but alas, it is very expensive and
my laptop will not run it.
but i came across Ubuntu Studio and got my hopes up, until i was shot down by the fact that it wont fit on a CD and i don't have a DVD-Burner and i'm not sure if my old lappy will run it smoothly.
Does anyone know the system requirements and how to get it on my laptop?
Many thanks to anyone that can help.

You can install the regular Ubuntu and then add the Ubuntu Studio repository to add extra applications.
