ubuntu server rt kernel

I use ubuntu server 64bits for hosting hlds server. Now by default it has 100HZ kernel and by using rt kernel I can use full of my cpu with 1000HZ.

But it is right and will that cause any issues, and will it increase some server performance ?

The tick count has nothing to do with "using full of your CPU". If you use the 100Hz configuration you will get more throughput, while your system will be more responsible when using 1000Hz. Therefore 1000Hz is mostly used on desktop systems while 100Hz is mostly used on servers. If you want to make a compromise use a setting between the two (I think it was 250Hz or 300Hz).
