Ubuntu on Tablet PC

Hi

I am a total newbie to linux - just installed Ubuntu on my dad's gateway desktop and works great!
I have a gateway tablet pc running windows tablet version I was wondering if anyone know if
linux would work on tablets? I know someone posted a similar question but it was too in depth for me.
Which linux should I install on tablet pc? Is there special software to work with it (handwriting)?
Will it work? Please help me out. I am really starting to love Linux but am not sure if it will work on tablets.

Mike

This really really is the same question that you have posted in https://www.linuxquestions.org/quest...d.php?t=471689 - substituting "Linux" for "Ubuntu" doesn't differentiate them at all.

Therefore, this one is closed.
