Ubuntu DVD Image download


Hello
I am trying to download the dvd image of dapper drake 6.06.
It starts well, but after sometime the download stops, altough the download manager seem to keep trying, but the download % does not change. this happened all the links i tried.
i have no internet connection at home, i download images at workplace and burn them.
have anyone tried to download dvd image of ubuntu dapper drake? need some suggestion on this.

How far will the download get before it stops?

hello
well, first time it was only 150MB, latest was 50MB only
i am trying bit torrent now.

It must be something to do with your work, I started the download about 30mins ago and have about 1.5GB.
You could always try a download manager with resume like prozilla.

hi
i am using freedownloadmanager on a win2k machine (its my office pc!). you think its something in my network? anyway, i would like to give more tries. could you pls send me the download link you're using?

I think it probably is something to do with your office network yeah, but it's hard to tell what, exactly, it is.

Hi
Thanks for the link, but it did not work on my pc. so i tried this on a winxp pc and it is downloading very smoothly (although it shows 57 hours remaining!).
