Ubuntu Breezy Badger Menu Bar

I'm currently using ubuntu and after installing, I noticed that they changed the icon for the main menu and the icon for the menu bar. First of all, I don't like the menu bar layout and would prefer the regular "applications actions" menu bar. Does anyone have any ideas about changing the menu bar back?

In synaptic, I added the debian experimental distribution to the repositories (sources.list) and tried to force the version on the gnome-menus package but it would not let me.

Take a look in here:

http://wiki.linuxquestions.org/wiki/Ubuntu

Basically, doing a simple:

cd /usr/share/pixmaps/
sudo mv gnome-logo-icon-transparent.png gnome-logo-icon-transparent.bak

should restore the gnome-foot, I guess
