ubuntu based distros

guys I was wondering if anyone knew of other ubuntu based distros, such as beatrix which unfortunately is based on ubuntu warty not the newest release?

Why not look for distros that are Debian based? One of which is Ubuntu.

Gnoppix: A version of the Knoppix distribution that uses the GNOME desktop environment. This distribution has long release cycle and may integrate with Ubuntu in the future.
