Ubuntu 9.10 + Wine + 'Ctrl+Break' Key Combination = Is it real?

Hello. My problem is: Ctrl+break combination is not work in program running in wine (last vers.)
I think, maybe CTRL+BREAK is system keybind, and it can't be used in other programs?
To test, I assigned CTRL+BREAK to run simply command (gedit for example) - and it not works too, but CTRL+T (or something like that) runs commands.

How to enable CTRL+BREAK to run linux or wine commands?
Thank you!

Key "Break" is situated with "Pause" key. Break & Pause is the same key on keyboard.
