Intrepid Ibex Final/Stable Released

Axel, TY for update. I have not read my distrowatch or LinuxTracker mail yet.
Am running/ (attempting) Kub 8.1 -64 RC, but am unable to get WiFi going on it yet, still researching. I myself have found Mepis 8b3 easier to use for a newb to GNU/Linux as far as connecting to networks

Ubuntu 8.10 is supposed to have a lot of improvements on finding and conecting to Wireless Networks. Unfortunatelly I don't have a Wireless card and router to test it.

However I believe that the best distro for anyone is the one that helps him do his job easier. :)
