Ubuntu 11.10 touchpad disabled after login

I mistakenly disabled touchpad in the Jupiter applet while in Gnome. Now the trackpad is disabled after I login. Trackpad works fine at the login password screen however. I have to use Fn + F4 to activate my touchpad every time I login. Any one ran into this problem before?
