ok...i am running 5.04 on an AMD 64 3200+ and i am having trouble installing Mp3 codecs...i have done everything on the tutorial...still doesnt work...(http://amd64.ubuntuguide.com) help please?

sorry about the link...lol...there is no error...and i have tried xmms, rythym box, and mplayer...mplayer says something about fonts and it asks me to put it in a write protected folder...i dunno

I get the wierd font error in mplayer too, but I click ok and all is well. It still plays alright. Can Amarok play them or are you completely MP3-less?
