Trouble running Ubuntu Ultimate Gamers Edition
 

I downloaded the live DVD and burned it using Nero. I try to boot up from it and I get Could not find kernel image:linux and it then leaves me at a [boot:] prompt. Am I missing something? Maybe a bad DVD? or a bad .iso?

It sounds to me like you have a bad burn. If the ISO was not burned correctly, you will find an ISO on the disk. If it is good, there should be separate files.

Presuming that you used Windows to burn the ISO, I would suggest using CDBurnerXP Pro (Not related to MS.). It is FREE and has a setting for burning ISO's.

I have used it numerous times and have never made a coaster.

Would it be worth trying to burn with Nero again, but wind back the burning speed?
I know this issue is prevelant with burning CD iso's, not sure if the same thing happens with DVD iso's.

Might be worth looking at though.....
