Thunar file manager has problems: xubuntu 8.10 Intrepid ibex


I've recently started using xubuntu 8.10 intrepid ibex... The thunar file manager on it freezes frequently while using... Can someone tell where the problem is?

Run thunar from a terminal. If it hangs, you will (hopefully) get some error messages shown on the terminal.

Alternatively, try using another file manager, such as Nautilus or Midnight commander. Recently, I became a fan of muCommander. If it only had tabs
