System tray disappeared in Gnome on Ubuntu
I previously had a tray at the top of the screen that would show many of my running apps (e.g. Skype, GAIM, etc.). However, I have done something that has made that tray disappear. Anyone experienced this before and have a suggestion as to how to get it back?

Just add a Notification Area applet to the panel.

Right-click the panel.
Add to Panel
Select Notification Area.
