Question startup disk creator won't detect the .iso image


hi
so i was about to creae a usb bootable disk of pinguy on my ubuntu OS and when i follow this steps http://www.ubuntu.com/download/help/...tick-on-ubuntu where i choose the .iso image it will ve visible but when i clicked open it wouldn't mark it.

Your screenshot shows that the size of the iso is ~860 MB. It is only half of the iso! That's why live USB creator could not recognize the iso.

I think your download was interrupted. If you use torrent, you can download the remaining iso without starting over. Also, it is usually a good idea to verify the checksum of the downloaded images so that you will know that the image is good. Hope this helps. Cheers.

thanks,i got it working,the iso image was good,the problem was the startup disk creator,somehow it wasn't completely downloaded,i saw that the startup disk creator was only 1 mb and i couldn't velieve it,i know ubuntu is awesome but i sinserely didn't trusted that so i redownloaded from the terminal
