Spell Checking


I've installed Hoary/Ubuntu and everything see fine but the spell checker in Konqueror doesn't seem to be working. It works great in SuSE, SimplyMEPIS etc., but not here (like writting this posyt)! Any ideas on how to fix it? It should turn mis-spelled words red and allow you to correct them - but nada...

I think Konqueror using the aspell dictionary, try seeing if you have installed on your system. You can do this easily by typing aspell into the search in synaptic.

It uses ISPELL and it works in OpenOffice - just not in Konqueror - anybody?

It's already setup as shown in the Yoper link. Lets look at this another way - does the spell checker work in everybody elses Hoary/Konqueror?
