several questions re XUBUNTU 10.04 xfce
This was also posted in the Xubuntu forum on ubuntuforums.org
Hi everyone - I'm no expert - a noob at worse and an experienced tester at best. Me being new to Xubuntu 10.04 xfce, I am stumped on how to do certain things with this distro, and I was wondering if someone could help me out, please.
1) Touchpad: it doesn't accept a tap for a mouseclick. Can this not be set?
2) After replacing the faulty ubuntu disk creator with Unetbootin, I need a gui USB formatting utility that doesn't pull in a bunch of Gnome or KDE dependencies just to run it. Any recommendations?
3) can some of the keys be re-mapped? I can't find this anywhere. In other 'buntus it can be done, but I don't know what tool is needed. (I don't mean loading a layout - I use the French Canadian layout as opposed to US standard - I mean remapping just some keys).
4) Can the right-click menu that you get on the desktop be re-done by the end-user? I'd like the applications list to be primary, and all the system settings stuff under the secondary menu. not the other way around as it is now. how can I change that?

Reason: Re-specifying the thread as a usability issue.
