Screen Resolution after boot without monitor
Hi, I've Ubuntu 5.10 installed on a old machine.
When I boot Ubuntu with the monitor turned off, the screen resolution is setted to 400 x 600 (or a lower resolution, I think) How can I set a fixed resolution, independently of the monitor ? Really thanks |
Solution
Hi, I found a simple solution.
Simple run sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg this run a wizard to set video parameters The most importan here is to turn off autodetect monitor, in this way the video resolution remain fixed. Thanks |
