samsung sgh-j700

i have a samsung sgh-j700 mobile phone and want to move music and photos from phone to computer and vice versa.
im using ubuntu 10.10 ( i think? got free with ubuntu user)

is there any way to get this phone to be able to work on ubuntu?

thanks for the reply

ok alls working, and heres what i did.
this might work with any phone
i tried wammu and gammu but couldnt transfer music just contacts etc

first change the setting on the phone to mass storage and connect via usb
its that simple
